We brewed a batch of our 'Maple Nutter' Imperial Stout and then aged it in rum barrels from Barbados for 12 months. Dark roasted malts and peanut butter flavourings provide a strong nutty aroma while the rum barrels add some spicy oak notes. Taste buds are immediately warmed with the rich flavour of buttery biscuits, peanut butter and spicy vanilla, then finish with a long sticky mouthfeel of maple syrup.
