If there’s one thing the people of Germany like more than lager, it’s a compound noun; so with ‘rauch’ meaning smoked and ‘bier’ meaning well... beer, join us in paying tribute to the iconic, Rauchbier.
Keeping the smokiness at the mild end, we wanted the beech-smoked barley to bring a subtle complexity to the beer, while a touch of sweetness on the malt-bill perfectly offsets the dryness. The result is a highly drinkable lager finished with a gentle linger of campfire smoke.
