For years, at Equipo Navazos we have had the project of bringing to the market a couple of vermouths made to our taste: one absolutely dry, another with moderate sweetness and purity of aromas. Finally, we have managed to convince the friends who market our wines to take the risk of looking for winelovers who are ready to enjoy such authentic and radical vermouths. We trust that the small production that has been made will be well received, but at least we have already achieved the first objective: to have a few cases in our personal cellars to enjoy them as an aperitif and to prepare the best cocktails in the world.
La Bota de Vermut Rojo 122 is, like all vermouths, an aromatized wine. In this case, the wine is a young Oloroso of noble Jerez origin that, thanks to the mastery of Eduardo Ojeda, has been transformed into a vermouth of sober sweetness and elegant bitterness in which the citrus notes stand out. Clean and complex, to be drunk in the traditional style with ice and, if you like, a slice of orange. Or to prepare the most delicious Manhattan you can imagine.
