Booker Wines

The name Booker comes from orphaned brothers Claude and Dick Booker, who purchased the land in the late
1920s. By the turn of the century, they had acquired more than 1,200 acres on Paso Robles’ Westside and devoted
their lives to farming and philanthropy, ultimately leaving their entire estate to charity upon their passing.
In 2001, Eric and Lisa Jensen purchased 100 acres of the property with the aim of growing exceptional fruit for
some of the region’s leading wineries. After working alongside Justin Smith of Saxum Vineyards and Stephan
Asseo of L’Aventure Winery, they launched Booker Vineyard’s first vintage in 2005, crafted by founder Eric Jensen.
The vineyard became organically certified in 2021 and achieved Regenerative Organic Certified® status in 2023.
