Hand-harvested and meticulously selected, the bottle is now a reality after undergoing a fermentation period in new 600-liter French oak barrels, with bâtonnage for eight months. It is noteworthy that it is made using the winery's own native yeasts, a unique approach distinct from the more commercial methods familiar to consumers of Rueda wines.
'Amador 10' will be a memorable wine, just like the extraordinary person behind its label. Bodega Cuatro Rayas owes a great deal to Diez De Íscar, a man with an extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, and a natural ability to communicate. He was undoubtedly the driving force behind the winery's relaunch and the key figure in the successful internationalization and modernization process that has positioned the Cuatro Rayas brand as a leading force within the Rueda Designation of Origin.
With his memory alive and his example in the hearts of Rueda's winegrowers, Diez De Íscar brings us together once again around wine, a sector to which he has dedicated his entire life and which today returns to him, in the form of gratitude, a small part of all he did for the DO. 'Amador 10' is a perfect wine inspired by an outstanding man.
