Despite a dry and hot climate that year, the wine has a very nice freshness and citrus flavour brought by the Sauvignon, while the Semillon gives it a nice fullness.
To be associated with any raw or cooked fish, shellfish, foie gras, any poultry or white meat, sweetbreads, spicy dishes (curry, tajine...), cheese, fruit desserts or sorbet.
The white wines of Château Carbonnieux are nervous, elegant, dry, full of race and distinction.
