Domaine William Fevre is often considered as a benchmark for quality and terroir expression in the region of Chablis. Using fruit from many of the most prestigious vineyards across the appellation, vinification is very traditional with fermentation and maturation on fine lees undertaken in a combination of stainless and seasoned oak (ave. 6 years old).
Though a Premier Cru, the Vaulorent vineyard is often considered an extension of the slows where the Grands Crus grow, with only a small path separating them. The 2019 release is excellent, exhibiting superb balance and precision.
