This is one of the sparkling wines that has written the history of Fontanafredda. Produced since the 1940s, it takes its name from the Countess Rosa di Mirafiori, the morganatic wife of King Vittorio Emanuele Il and mother of Emanuele Guerrieri di Mirafiori, the founder of the company in 1878. Made by fermenting Pinot noir grapes selected for the production of a great classic method "Talento", it undergoes degorgement after maturing on the yeasts for at least 3 years. Its intense nose mainly features toasted nuts, while its perlage is fine and persistent, and its dry, full taste is well balanced and elegant. Straw yellow in colour, brilliant and lively. Its bouquet is fine, clear, rich and persistent, very distinct. Its taste is decidedly dry, acidulous to perfection, pleasantly fresh and full, its perlage lively and persistent.
